Bart Fanelli is a sales executive, field operator, entrepreneur, and author with more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector. He is particularly versed at building high-performance global teams in areas such as GTM, GSI and MSP design, field marketing and events, SaaS, and Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew (LAER) framework. Most recently, Bart Fanelli served as chief revenue officer at OutSystems. He joined the company in 2018 as global vice president.
Before coming to OutSystems, Bart Fanelli held several executive positions for a seven-year period at Splunk. As vice president of global field success from 2015 to 2017, he led an award-winning global field messaging and enablement team in addition to a field sales team with market specialization in value consulting, IT operations and applications, security, and business analytics. Fanelli also served the company as Area vice president of global field operations, senior director of global field operations, and director of its global field sales enablement practice.
Bart Fanelli began his sales career with BMC Software. As director of a field sales leadership enablement, he earned an honorable mention for the BMC Board of Directors Operational Efficiency Award for Sales Onboarding during fiscal year 2011. Prior to that, he routinely exceeded his sales quota as a regional sales manager. He spent his first six years with the company as a senior account manager.
Bart Fanelli is the co-author of The Success Cadence: Unleash Your Organization’s Rapid Growth Culture (2019) and has been featured in Harvard Business Review and the Legends of Sales and Marketing podcast. He is also a former Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) advisory board member and received the TSIA STAR Award for Innovation in Expand Selling Lead Generation Programs in 2017.
